I had to admit that I was a little frustrated with the mixed messages that I was getting from Christian. First, he told me that sleeping with me had been a mistake, then he acted as though nothing had ever happened. Besides, it wasn’t like I didn’t know all the issues with us coupling. I had never intended to be the kind of person who slept with their boss. Of course, I had never imagined having a boss who was quite as sexy as Christian.
